Bem,o sub forum chama-se outras simulações e estes dois titulos nada têm de simulação.
Mas não deixo de os anunciar aqui.
São os 2 grátis,estão os 2 a abrir "CLOSED BETA" nas próximas semanas.
Estou inscrito nos dois a ver o que sai dali.

Os carros podem ser totalmente configurados (aspecto).
Trata-se de um arcade puro mas o facto de ser multiplayer pode torná-lo engraçado.Por menos não é mais um a "shit" a tentar ser o que não é.

Não sei muito deste jogo mas parece que mais uma vez é um arcade com gráficos bons.As fisicas depois sao outra história.

Por acaso também recebi um chave para o beta do Autoclube Revolutions. Vamos lá ver o que sai dali, não me importava nada que fosse género Forza3 ou GT5, só para descontrair das provas do iRacing Cool

Só a parte em que diz que o motor de fisica é derivado do netkar... diz logo tudo Big Grin

Quanto ao Auto club revolution, se for do género de forza ou GT vai ser espectacular, pelas screens parece apetitoso. Smile

Eutechnyx launches Closed Beta Test phase today and confirms test content.

Monday 25th July 2011, London, United Kingdom, Eutechnyx today launched the Closed Beta Test (CBT) phase of its eagerly anticipated online racing game and car community, Auto Club Revolution. From today, players will be granted access to the test version of the game and asked to report their feedback.

"It's a big day for the Auto Club Revolution team", said executive producer, Doug Wolff. "We've been working up to this for over four years and we're very excited at the prospect of receiving feedback from our most valued testers, real life players".

He continues, "We've set-up a bespoke CBT version of the game with a specific set of features, only the ones we need tested in this phase. As we become happy with the stability of the first set of features we'll quickly roll new ones into the test".

The CBT makes available fourteen cars from the first forty five produced, and two race tracks. Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps becomes the first licensed race track to be subject to the test alongside custom race track L.A. River, a track designed to test high-speed pack racing. Both tracks have been crafted in exquisite detail and provide test players with a glimpse of what is to come.

Product manager Jason Collins said, "We have eight tracks finished, four licensed and four custom, and we’ll be adding these in as we progress through testing. About cars he added, "We've released fourteen cars so far with many more coming as part of our regular content and feature updates.”

There is still time to take part in the first phase of Closed Beta, with the closing date for beta key applications set at Midnight July 31st. Anyone interested in joining this first phase of testing should ensure they register at www.autoclubrevolution.com before then. Additional test phases will be unveiled over the coming weeks and months. Players who don’t register in time to take part in the initial phase will be invited to join as these phases become active.

Those who have already joined the waiting list for a beta key can expect to receive an email containing an invitation and the key itself. Keys will be distributed in batches to the waiting list throughout Closed Beta, players who don’t receive one in the first few days of testing will do so throughout the course of testing. "

Parece ser mesmo excelente jogo.

Mas ainda estou há espera das keys.

Surpreendeu-me bastante foi o facto de o jogo ter já a pista de spa. Big Grin

pelos graficos da spa diria que é um nfs Shift 3. Espero que esse jogo nao seja um do tipo Levelr mas sim melhor em termos de simulaçao. Com a adiçao da spa ja acho o jogo muito bom em termos de conteudo porque spa é uma pista muito alucinante e para iniciar ta muito bom. Tou com esperanças que isto seja uma coisa entre shift e gran turismo(pelo menos pelos graficos ta mesmo no meio).

Acerca das fisicas dos carros fica aqui em excerto de uma entrevista a Doug Wolff da Eutechnyx:

Q: What approach is Eutechnyx taking when setting up the handling of the cars in Auto Club Revolution?

A: “Auto Club Revolution uses the Eutechnyx racing physics model at its core, giving it a world class racing experience that you would normally expect to find in a console or boxed PC game, not a free-to-play product. Because we’re using a sophisticated driving model we’re able to adjust the settings of individual components on the car, the result, if the player wants it, is authentic, simulation-racing handling and performances, fine tuned by our team.”



Q: Does that mean all the cars will feature sim-racing style handling or a more casual, arcade model?

A: “Although the racing physics model we’re using is capable of producing a sim-racing experience we are aware that many people initially prefer a more casual experience so we’ve developed a set of assists, based on real world principles, to make the car easier to drive. These assists will be selectable by the user to determine how “sim” or “arcade” they want the handling, essentially giving the player a customisable experience that they can enjoy. It’s important to us that all players can enjoy racing their cars, so they’ll be able to select from a range of assists to make this possible. ”

Q: What can you tell us about the Eutechnyx racing physics model and how you are setting up cars in it?

A: “Our advanced racing physics model allows for thousands of parameters to physically describe a single car. These parameters are used to define the motion of the suspension, engine torque curve, tyre models, gear ratios and hundreds more down to the specific dimensions, mass and inertia of many components that make every car unique and drive like they do in the real world. Just as important as the racing physics model are the processes necessary to assist us in fine tuning each car setup. G-force performance calibration tools allow us to overlay and compare acceleration, cornering and full race telemetry from the real world to that in the simulation to ensure an authentic experience for our players.”


Dá-me ideia que basicamente não difere muito dos jogos consola em termos de fisicas mas veremos.
