ArrayGraphics: Features Directx9 shaders and similiar but the graphics are not as sharp and clear as one would hope, still very simple graphics but they are good enough for driving.
Cars: Features cars from 2004 and 2005, While the game features 150cars most of these are versions of the same cars, nothing too big to notice.
Audio: Comes with simple computer made music that seems to fit the game, adjustable sounds for skids etc. The cars sound good, but they sound all too much the same, a vette for example doesnt in any way resemble the grunt and torquish behavior of its real counterpart.
Physics: Heres my biggest gripe, the game's engine is Gmotor 2 a tuned version of Gmotor which is used in old games like formula 99-02 and even the old Sports car GT, and it shows. The cars are easy to drive and accessible but the tire physics is waay to simple, when you lose grip the grip curve is almost linear, meaning no matter how much you slide the behavior of the car doesnt change, making me skid around the track violently drifting without losing control ever. Also as in the earlier GTR the cars lack any feel of inertia, by trailbraking into the curves you hardly feel the nose would dive and tend to coast into the turns, it feels very much static and too much emphasizes on steering wheel usage making you not managing any rocking of the weight to produce good "balance"
There is alot of arguing about this game in the simracing scene, many saying that it is totally unrealistic, which i disagree, it is very simple and straightforward but quite realistic but the physics are just so from the 90's
I havent tested online gameplay yet so i cant comment on that.
Pro's: Easily accessable for everyone
Not Extremely hard on the PC
Lots different cars, driving lessons
decent force feedback
Seems to be ok modability
Cons: Dated physics
Repetitive sounds
"Look ma, im a rock on wheels" feel of the cars[/quote]
Já o testei e concordo este gajo. Excepto no sons, que estão uma maravilha.
