After more than 1 month testing hard the wheel specialy in RBR i can say this piece of hardware is very good!
I found the best setting to be:
FFB - 33 to 66% no need to use 100% as it will breack your table :D
Wheel at 360º but in the setup use the same degrees, i don´t know why but it works better if both places use the same value, in game i use 540º, if i use more the wheel gets too "turny" and you´ll need lots of harm-job to balance the car on hairpins, if i use less the little turn will give too much turn on wheels and you will get off the road very easily.
On SENS i use it at 33 or off. de only think i found a little unreal (due to old phisics in RBR, against new FF technology on 911) is that the turns of the wheel doesn´t feel real versus reaction of the car, it doesn´t feel progressive, as it is on GTR2 or GTLegends, that "what you turn is what you get" in RBR i can´t feel it, maybe because i have delectec input_filter.ini from the game to achieve more direct sensation on wheel turning on my old Sidewinder.
Maybe in a new driver there could be addeed some sensitive interface to this cases whem the game itself doesn´t provide de sensitivity on the center of the wheel!
I have already used 8 bateries, and now i only use the cable as it is safer to avoid disconection on low bateries, the cable is just enough, but would be better with 50cm more, and the connection plug on the same side for both components.
Another thing i would add it is the possibility to use both "H" patern and sequencial shifter, at same time beacuse like that we can simulate the hand-break in GTLegends or Richard Burns Rally.
Due to great wheel inside engine, the wheel turns itselfe heavy to turn, even without any FFB, i know it is impossible to change it because it uses a belt drive instead of the usual plastic gear wheels, but it would be nice to have it lighter.
After all this testing the pedal set shown as very acurate, the break was never an issue because like modern cars with progressive breaking, the progress distance breaking on pedal is only 3 or 4cm, like in my car. The clutch is a little too hard but once abain it depends on experience driving real cars, on this set it looks like my other car, a pick-up 4x4, on the other hand the accelerator should be a little harder, because with hard shoes we don´t feel the pedal.
The shifters give a good shifting feeling, although the use of ruber or leather would increase that feeling, i know it is already on development this addon to final version!
As for the shifter suports, two massive inox bars would be enough to hold any shifter witout problems, instead of the tubes that even not bending too much ar too weak to a hard-core player, the new fixing system to the table is good looking, i made myself one too,a little different from the drawing already shown, and at now i´m making a new one on steel that holds both shifters in a very close to reality position, and it alows the wheel to also slide to adjust not only inclination but also its high, to give the correct above neck position.
The presentation boxe of the wheel is great, with subtle choise of colors, that increase the quality look of the product inside. It was well packed and safely packed, to avoid wheel issues to mal-transportation.
To complete this resumen i would just say that i don´t doubt to say that at this moment i would buy this wheel conparing it with closest competicion wheels on market, in terns of cost, because we get a complete set for a resonable price.
The 300 some say it is too much for country like Portugal, because the average salaries are around 500, but for most european countries it is a very cheap wheel for the quality you get for your money!
