Actually, I was the car you hit. Joao Augusto was out of track, he came in front of me and I had to decide: To turn right or to brake hard. I didn't knew if there was another car on my right, so in that moment I thought braking hard was less dangerous. Maybe, I took the wrong decision, but I didn't create the dangerous situation. I was talking to Antonio after the race and I told him I was dissapointed with my times, as I was doing more or less 1 more second per lap than expected. The rear wing and the front suspension were damaged. The car was drivable, but maybe it lost some grip...
Well, anyway, all of this has little importance compared to the "Great Moment": At the time of the 1st pitstop, then I suddenly realized that... I hadn't practiced a pitstop in Sepang!!! Yes, call me stupid, you're right... Then I took the wrong road ( before the last corner) and I crashed into the wall. Don't miss it, watch it at the replay at lap 18... I think I will win the "Stupid moment of the championship" prize.
My 2nd stint was bit better, but I was still moving into 14-15th place. I went into pit (using the right way this time) and at the exit, I saw 2 cars coming in the straight. I wanted to get out of the way as soon as possible, but I didn't do it right: Don't know how, but I got stuck in the inner kerb of T1. After more or less 15 seconds, I managed to get out of it, but that time accelerating trying to get out of the kerb was too much for my engine, that said "goodbye" 4 or 5 laps after that. I will never get out of the track to let another car lap me... maybe you will have to wait a couple of corners...
If everything had gone perfect, I'd been around 10th place that was my position in Australia. We have to work hard at Bercar to improve our setups and driving to get into the points...
