I didn't do a good start but recovered my position, lost it again, recovered it again, so anxious were the people that made many mistakes in the first two laps. After that, the race was stabilished.
I was fourth and Miguel Madureira was pressing to overtake me. That happened in several occassions but I always recovered my position. It was very fun because we had two very different setups: while he had a faster car on turns, I had it on straights. So we passed each other many times, had several little touches but were doing the most to respect each other. But unfortunately one of the times, at least at the slowest point of the track, we spun and JPC Barbosa and Alexandre Caetano got us.
After that I lost pace until I emerged from pit stop just before JPC Barbosa. He was much closer than Miguel to accidents and at the end it happened. Maybe the cause was that he hadn't the time to study my lines and at one point he pushed me out and I crashed to the barriers. I must admint that inside the cockpit it seemed a more stupid move than it actually was, so no problem JPC.
It was the end of my race. My car was crippled: my suspension bent and the wheel pushed left and right like a beast. As stubborn I am, I faced the rest of the race (more than one hour) with that car, and as stubborn I am, I fight against force feedback without turning it off. With 20 minutes to go I was so tired that I couldn't hold the wheel very strong, and touch the grass many times, several of them resulting in spins or minor crashes. However I resisted 'till the end.
But, to make it even more agonic, Joao Barbosa, the winner, refused to lap me to not cross the line before time went up and have to do another lap, so I did! I hate you Joao :P
