Damn it was fun!
Sorry for Filipe, he was gone when we were agreeing the restart. Due to my injured hand my first intention was to take it easy and take the end, but when at lap two I saw that my pace was somehow good enough for a fight and I intented to do less pitstops than the rest, I started to push. I made one driving mistake which resulted in a broken wing, and I lost all my advantage with my fellow and competitor because... I had to wait at the pits as he was in! At the end it was enought to secure 4th place. I also made a mistake with the Safety Car. I thought we had to wait for the "Pit Lane Open" message I've seen in other races, so when I realised that the refueling people didn't receive any penalty, it was too late and I enter pits at the same time of the SC, so I wasted a pitstop advantage. Anyway 3rd position was 2 laps ahead me at the end, so it doesn't matter.
I enjoyed very much the fight with Cesar, also his accident when he tried to overtake me at the backstraight ruined his race. At the end, although I suspected that he had to pit one more time, I wasn't sure, so I pushed and pushed to get enought advantage to exit pits just ahead of him. I knew I had to pit and my tires were worse each lap, but needed that advantage, so I saw where he was, where I was, waited for him to be lapped by 1st and 2nd and calculated when I should pit to not be lapped by them and loose time. It was pretty close, I exited pits just ahead of him and he pushed me for two laps while my tires warmed. But at the end I made some distance, his tires weren't good and he had to pit anyway :(
And... we're leading the Teams Championship! uahahaha. Let's enjoy this because it might not last much time.
